Three Chord Sound

By | Kingdom Awakening

This is a new era. There is a fresh wave of awakening in the earth; it’s not coming, far off somewhere, years down the road. Yes, there is more to come that will add to, but there is a wave here NOW and if you have eyes to see and ears to hear, there are three things that this wave of sound, carrying revelation fresh from the throne of the King, straight from the King vein, is releasing. The Bible gives us a glimpse of worship in heaven in the book of Revelation 4:8, and what does it say? It describes the angels and the elders round about the throne saying, “HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is the Lord God almighty, who WAS and IS, and IS TO COME!!” In order to understand what is happening in the earth right now, we have to look at what they are saying in this scripture about the King, the God who created us in His image. If He was, and is, and is to come, then that means so are we and we must carry this three chord sound!!

It’s the ANCIENT sound. Read More

True Identity

Walking in the Spirit, Daily Communion, and Maturity

Recently I was meditating on what it means to really know and grasp one’s true identity, to fully walk in the Spirit and not succumb to the dictates of the flesh.  What I discovered was that if we actually do walk in the Spirit, in daily communion with Christ, we will be living out our identity and fulfilling our destiny.  Because Jesus dwells in me and my spirit is connected to the Holy Spirit, all I ever need lies within me already.  The power, anointing, authority, grace, love, wisdom, understanding, essentially all the gifts and fruit I’ll ever need lies within, as a deep reservoir of riches waiting to be accessed.  Jesus is my all-in-all and resides within me.  He is everything, supplies everything, and He is my El Shaddai, my all-sufficiency.  Why would I ever look elsewhere for fulfillment, or rely on myself?  It is a principle in scripture that what we behold we become, or what we focus on we become.  So, as I gaze upon the Lord, I become more and more like Him, and this begins the transformation process to become more and more like Jesus.  “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord” II Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV).  What a thrilling promise to us!

Three Truths of Kingdom Relationship: Faith, Trust, & Obedience

By | Kingdom Advancement
Three simple truths define a believer’s walk with God: faith, trust, and obedience. One’s faith in Him—His goodness, majesty, and sovereignty—enables the trust. His nature—the same yesterday, today, and forever—makes Him trustworthy. Faith and trust, however, are incomplete without obedience. Because He is Who He says He is, because He is unchanging, one’s obedience is well-placed and well-portioned in Him.

1st Truth: Faith

Hebrews 11:1 is perhaps the hallmark faith Scripture: “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” (NIV) The word faith in this passage is the Greek word pistis—a conviction that God exists and is the creator and ruler of all things, the provider and bestower of eternal salvation through Christ; a strong and welcome conviction or belief that Jesus is the Messiah, through whom we obtain eternal salvation in the Kingdom of God. Strong’s Concordance also includes the definition of fidelity and faithfulness—the character of one who can be relied upon. The root of pistis is peithō, a primary verb meaning to persuade, to be persuaded, to believe, to listen to, to obey, to yield to, to comply with, to trust, to be confident in.

These definitions, then, confirm that one’s faith in God has substance. It is not some ethereal, wispy wish, but a well-rooted, weighty belief in His Divine three-person Godhead. Read More
